The room was comfortable, but the loud screams of children from a nearby party occasionally disrupted my peace. Despite needing a fresh coat of paint and a more effective heater, the overall atmosphere felt cozy and welcoming, with some areas needing a little attention, particularly the bathrooms.
One minor drawback was the outdated décor, which, while not detracting significantly from my experience, could benefit from some modern updates.

Loved the price of our standard queen room with comfy beds and its essentials. The hotel was in a marvellous and amazing location next door to a park and a hill. Very very nice and courteous staff was available all the time.

We loved the rich heritage and history of the Hotel Shamrock, discovering there’s even a haunted top floor—exciting! The dining options were excellent, with an amazing breakfast and great dinner, and the staff were friendly. The location is perfect for exploring Bendigo’s landmarks like Rosalind Park and the Sacred Heart Cathedral, making for a nice family stay. cleanliness issues marred our visit, but with some TLC, it could be fabulous.

Our family stay at the Hotel Shamrock was mixed. While the charming Victorian architecture and downtown location are excellent, the service fell short. The pool lacked facilities, and cleanliness standards were disappointing. the live music on Sunday afternoon and proximity to beautiful landmarks like Rosalind Park and the Discovery Centre provided nice moments for us as a family, enhancing our bonding experience.

A cozy stay right in the heart of the city! The room was charming and the staff were genuinely friendly. Loved the vibrant atmosphere with live music nearby. Just a heads up-parking was a bit tricky, but overall, a good experience I'd happily repeat!

My executive queen room with views of the autumnal gardens as well as comfortable bed was well furnished. The location was amazing for exploring Bendigo. The area was beautiful adjacent to tourist attractions and the business area and town centre.

Staff were obliging when I asked to change rooms.
Whole place is very dated tired and shabby. Carpets smelled bad. Not very nice breakfast area.

Great location! You can easily walk to the awesome Golden Dragon Museum, plenty of restaurants, and a beautiful park right across the street. We were in a rush and popped over to Yo Sushi nearby. 🍣.
